tv channel bandwidth

    :) since B.W allocated for tv channel in nearly 480 MHz and each channel allocates 6MHZ B.W ,then how more than 200 channels can be viewed through one cable. :rolleyes:

    The 480 MHz bandwidth limit was for broadcast TV - the lower and upper VHF bands plus the UHF channels. When sending signals in a coaxial cable, no such restrictions apply. If the losses are not too great, many more than just 200 channels may be transmitted.
