Hi,

I need to make an up/down turns counter for a coil winding machine. Does anyone have a circuit diagram for such a thing, or know where I can find one? CMOS or PIC is fine.

How about a photo of your winding machine. The electronics would consist of a quadrature encoder (sensor), a quadrature decoder, an up/down counter and a disply. The first part in the sensor setup, where a photo will help.
