Let me introduce myself. I am doing a project analyzing power supply performance using LTSpice. Specifically I need to determine the quantity True Power factor. I am trying to figure how to use spice to calculate this.
True Power factor consists of 2 components. Displacement PF multiplied by Distortion PF. Displacement PF is easily to calculate but I can figure out how to do Distortion PF.
The formula for distortion PF = I(1)_RMS / I(T)_RMS
where I(1)_RMS is the RMS of the fundamental harmonic of the current
where I(T)_RMS is the RMS of the total current
