You had asked the 1 Hz time base on 10-29-2012, and I already posted the circuit at #6.

 

I'm an idiot. So after thoroughly trying numerous things, and spending much time trying to figure out why it wasn't blinking, I decided to recheck my wiring. One wire was one hole off causing the whole thing to not work. Once I moved the wire to the correct spot it worked like a charm.

I'm sincerely sore for wasting all of your guys' time.

Lesson learned.

 

I am glad you got it working. As for my time, it wasn't a waste. I enjoyed breadboarding the circuit and I learned some things in the process.

But then you learned something too. Check the wiring and then check it again.
