    Interesting stuff. I'd never heard of it. BTW, the 2nd link is not the same stuff is the 1st (aluminum oxynitride versus magnesium aluminate).

    Some authors are pretty good about spotting coming technologies and including it in the story. This is one thing that makes good educational science fiction.

    I wouldn't have missed it, but I sure don't remember it. I just read the synopsis and it all sounded completely new. Better go watch it again!
