Hey guys,

I was making some practise exams and I got stuck on the following thing:

I need to know the Thévenin Voltage and Thévenin Resistance.

Hope you guys can explain me how to fix this.

Basically you find the Thevenin equivalent of the voltage divider network comprising the 3M & 1M resistors in association with the 18V DC supply. You need the Thevenin equivalent as seen at the common junction of the resistors at the base terminal. Initially consider the voltage divider network as being disconnected from the base terminal. Then 'reconnect' the derived Thevenin equivalent to the base terminal to continue with the analysis.
