i know little abt electronics ...............my question is what is the need of resistors in transistor baising?

The resistors establish the quiescent or Q-point. It is about this point that an AC signal can be amplified. This Q-point is located in the transistor's linear range, not in either cutoff or saturation. You could of course use batteries or DC power supplies, but resistors is way more convenient.
