I am not sure if I am approaching this problem the right way, please help me. I need to figure out VE and IE. In order to do this I need to figure out the base current. The 2 sources are a bit confusing. Here is what I have so far:
The collector is the common point in the circuit. Applying KVL gives me:
+6V - IB*330k - VBE - IE*1.2k - 6V = 0
IE = (beta +1) * IB
From this I can figure out the base current, IE and VE.
Please let me know if this is correct.
