What is the value for Alpha and VBE?
If Alpha = 1 then you can say that IE and IC are equal.
With that 25mA, you can find VC just by using KCL. It should be
10V-VC/270 = 25mA
VC = ......
From there you can use the other formula
VCE= VC - VE
If VBE = 0.7V....

VB = 5V this is the base volatge it already have a +5V volatage source connected to it.
VBE = VB - VE
0.7 = 5V - VE
VE = 4.3V
