Something I have been thinking about and keep in mind I am not an audiophile is as you get closer to making a working model where the audio will come from? What I mean is when you get the audio will it already be filtered to sub woofer frequencies? Also, at what frequencies do you want this to respond? Like I mentioned, I am not an audio type.
