HI,Iam looking to calculate the copper losses in a primary winding. Does anybody know what is the calculation for this
( I know 1 x the KVA value x power factor) but now sure where to go from here.

    Thanks

What information do you have about the transformer?

    Watts/ Lb Cu loss = 2.57 x [A/in2] squared x 234.5 + temp C divided by 309.5
Watts resistance loss = Lbs Cu x Watts/ Lb Cu loss
    Does this help?
