i need to know how to draw transformer phasor diagrams.... i mean if some one has any resourse on a sample transformer phasor diagram... it d be of great help.. ..i m having a llittle trouble understanding what is in phase with what and what is not.... i m currently readin electrical engg fundamentals by Vincent del Torro and a book by an indian author on electric machinery by P.S.Bhimbra..

In a pure (no DC resistance) inductive circuit the current lags the voltage by 90-degrees. Depending on the type of transformer in question, this laging effect will be something less than 90-degrees due to some DC resistance. You can show the current as being between 0 & 90-degrees "behind" the voltage as viewed on a scope.
