Hello!
I'm new on this forum and I'm not a native english speaker so, first, I want to excuse my poor english and my possible mistakes.
I'm looking for two types of transistors:TRW TP 71329-2035C and TRW TP110T9-2405C and I didn't find any information about them on the internet. I found something about TP series but the types that start with TP7XXXX don't exist.
Does anyboby ever hear about them or know an equivalent?
I'm looking forward for your answer.

Where are you getting these numbers?

 

This kind of transistors are used in radioaltimetres, in Ultra High Frequency module.

 

Search for other transistors equivalent to them.

 

I found the equivalents: 2N4429 for TRW TP 71329-2035C and 2N4431 for the other one.....I didn't find them in Romania, my native country, but it's not a big deal to procure them from an foreign supplier.

Speaking of 2N4429, I noticed that it has one terminal built-up not like classic terminals, but like a "fin". Can anybody explain me what is the meaning of such a design? Does it have any electrical importance? Are they designed like this for a reason?

I think they help dissipate heat and improve attachment to the printed circuit boad ground plane.
