Looking for a simple touch switch circuit which is activated with one touch not putting your finger between two wires etc ?

 

Basically you want a square of aluminum or some other metal that will trigger a latch of some sort, correct?

Basically yes touch detection on a single copper wire about 1 meter long,I dont have high value (Mohm) resistors for the pulldown on a mosfet is there a work around.
