I'm seriously going to consider this gadget to fix my breakfast in the future.

I wonder if the knife itself could be used as a thermometer, since its resistance changes with temperature. That way one could have closed-loop control over its performance.

I was thinking this is a half-baked idea :rolleyes:, but you seem to be on the track to finishing the design work. :)

Additional advantage in case of accidents: finger cut and cauterized in a single action. No additional equipment required.

BTW, original way of wasting time.
