does ayone have more information on what this does? I read that this is a programmable chip. what exactly does that mean? and how would I program it. I have to burn the code onto it? my buddy has an eprom burner.

obviously you can tell I have no idea what I am talking about, but isnt that half the fun of looking at something new. thx, Marc

If so can you post it?

I can only find the tlc271 and not the tlc2711.
