Hello,

Did you put the files in the correct directory:
Place include files and library in catalogue: "..\lib\sub"

Thanks Bertus. The thing is that when I go to the above website and click on those files all I get is a text document poping up which I assume I should copy and paste somewhere. But what is that file? Is it a .asy, .lib, .sub...??? If I paste it into the "comment" as a Spice directive I get an error message. The part is pointing to that directive as far as I know

Hello,

When you are on a site and click with the left mousebutton on the link, it will show you a pop-up with the text "save file as" in it.
When you click on that it will ask you where to save it.

hi les,
Place these two files on your desktop, rename the TL783.txt as TL783.inc and double click the 'asc' file.

To see what is in them open with a word pad program

Added a sim run image.
Note: he has used the LM317 'sym' model

I found a x_lm78xx.sub file from my recent library download. Is there a way to use this as a lm7824? I don't see a x_lm78xx.asy file or symbol for this?

hi les,
If you post a copy of that 'sub' file we can tell you what is in it.
You may have to change the .sub extension to .txt , so that you can upload it.
