I need to activate a solenoid for 3-5 sec and then prevent in from actuating again for 30 - 60 sec. Any ideas?

 

two 555 timers, or a cd4093

 

What power level?

Continual on-off cycle or triggered?

If triggered, is trigger maintained longer than "on time"?

2. What type of input signal? DC? Push buttton?
3. What triggers the timer?
3. What type of solenoid? Part number? Volt/current rating?
4. Latch output?
5. Solenoid reset requirements?
