Hi Everyone!

I got this old watch winder that has 3 buttons on it to select rotation direction for the automatic watches. Moreover, the motor is bit noisy to sleep with it powered on in the same room.

So I decided to make this project:
1. I will need to slow down the motor
2. add time control for the operation, lets say make it active for 15 mins every 1 hour, or even better, add a digital panel to select the time settings.

What do you think is the best solution for it?

I cant slow down the motor with that, also I will need to close the circuit on one of the buttons to make it power up every time the power is supplied. currently its not turning on without physically pressing the button.

So I thought if I will mess around with the circuit, then why not make it nice.
