Time Delay

    erm anyone knows how to make a simple delay timer using 1/2 LM358?

    how's the connection like and stuff.

    How triggered? Supply voltage? What load does it drive? How long a delay? How much are you willing to pay?

    Might be a lot easier with all of an LM555.

    Here is a circuit. When the charge on the capacitor connected to the - input approaches the voltage on the + input the output will go to near ground. I don't have a formula to calculate the time, but as I remember the - appears as a virtual ground and thus a constant current the voltage on the capacitor will rise in a linear fashion.
