Hello,
Ive got a TIG welder that I'm trying to find a foot pedal for, to control the welding output. Pic attached is the circuit of the pedal from the company that made the welder. I can't get one of these, so am looking for another option. Most welder foot pedals seem to just use a potentiometer, this one uses a transistor and some other components. What i wonder is if I can use the pot only type pedal instead of this one? Or is the kind of output basically different because of the transistor control?
Thanks,
