’d like to give the TI CC3000 Module – Wi-Fi 802.11b/g Network Processor (spec = http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/cc3000.pdf) a try.

Questions I have after reading the spec are;

I can’t tell whether the module can be re-programmed to wake itself up every second but if not, can I strobe the unit from an mcu to wake up every second using the VBAT_SW_EN (p 9).
Will this trigger “automatic fast connection to an access point without user or host intervention” using “user-configurable profiles stored in an NVMEM” and could also wake up some of the other devices which can be put to sleep at the same time (p 2)
To what extent can reprogram the EEPROM via UART >> pins on the module? Parameters only? Communications stack?

I signed up for the TI forum (http://e2e.ti.com/support/rf__digital_radio) but I cant for the life of me see where to post my questions? Do you know how to post to the TI Forum?

Thanks
