In 3-phase rectifier using thyristors. When I give its output to a resistive load I get the expected output. But, when I give its output to a D.C Shunt Motor EMF is generated at output which is greater than the applied voltage (i.e If I apply 220V from output of rectifier to motor the voltage across armature is >300V)
Then when the output of 1-phase diode fullwave rectifier (200V DC) is given to the motor again I m getting voltage around 270V across armature.
Why is this happening, I want to control it, How can I do it?

The "Feedback and Suggestions" forum is for feedback and suggestions. I've moved this to "General Electronics Chat" which is more appropriate. Srrenivasan, you will have to create an account to post here.
