R!f@@, I never noticed your location - I can see the problem with suppliers..
I think the UK is rather closer to you than the USA, if you are stuck for parts that are available here I can get them & sort it out with paypal.
There again, it depends on postage costs as much as distance - from here, Royal Mail basic airmail for 100g is (UKP) 1.82, for 1Kg it is 12.37 so about $3 & $18 respectively.
Looking at the USPS web site, using the cheapest option (first class international, small packet), the nearest equivalents are 4oz = $3.81 and 36oz = $18.66 so not a lot in it.
Not a lot in it considering it's several thousand miles more - the price and availability of parts & who can get them in a reasonable time is probably the deciding point.
