I am compelled at end of each year to take the Inventory of life.

I have to try to as many things that I have done thru life,to test my

abilities. Bike riding has been checked off, such along list , a fan club

member came forward last week, still have it. One of my best presentation

was a sucess, done .....no more for the year. More to come.......been talking

to much...need to do more exercise...that takes time...I need more time.

Making the balance of the year, eh?

Lesse...
I learned about UAVs.
I organized an Electronics Club with a friend at the uni, with mild success.
I took up our family olive fields with my dad, learned a few things.
Made a few new friends.

I think that sums up the most important ones.

Lets see, I did some good work on Bluetooth
Got into a really bad car accident. (Still in rehab and therapy)
Trying to buy a car but the planets are not aligning. Was gonna get a Scion FR-S which was amazing but they only did a production run of 5000 which makes me leary of making it an everyday driver when the 13 Civic Si comes out next month.
Found out a very good friend from HS got her PHD then took a swan dive off the GGB 1 week later. (This absolutely devastated me)
Lost a couple friends, gained a couple others.
Finally didn't get arrested this year! Yeah! me! (Still 11 days to go, I think I can - I think I can!)

Hiya KV. I'm here! :D

Let's see... This year I:

learned more about computer-related software/hardware and made several extensive modifications to my own laptop

completed my secret knock detector project

made a lot of friends

quite my job at Kmart

got a job at a University as a lab assistant

helped a lot of people, both at the school and otherwise

learned a lot from people, both at the school and otherwise

watched WAAAAAAY too much tv

became a bit of a celebrity at my former-workplace and my old high school

started working in video editing

began work with 3-D CAD designs

survived the Apocalypse

became an uncle to two adorable kids

There's definitely a lot that I left out. It's been a busy year for me! Hoping to make more out of my life during the coming year.

Best wishes for the New Year everyone!
Regards,
Matt

That's fun, but burning bridges was always risky.

One thing I don't miss is the end-of-year "review" they did at my job where they basically rip you for not doing things you had absolutely no control over. That was the great thing about my job:

100% of the responsibility, 0% of the authority.

National Semiconductor (now TI) can kiss my skinny freckled Irish backside.
