Today, I received my PG&E bill (the Gas/Electric Utility for Northern California) and there was one of those little notices about a request by PG&E to the California Public Unities Commission to increase rates by a total of $654 Million in order to build 25,000 EV Charging Stations and "Electric Education Program".

This is yet another installment in California's obscure "Greenhouse Gas Reduction Goals" and PG&E will make out like a bandit selling even more power to charge EVs. But like most of these environmental "feel good" proposals, it's gonna cost the ratepayers (and taxpayers as well) Big Time!!!
I suspect Tesla and the other companies offering electric vehicles and charging stations are behind this program and it will be implemented all across the U.S. -whether the public wants it or not!!!
