How about the book Electronics Explained by Michael Brimcombe.

The www.electronicsexplained.co.uk has various interesting pdfs that seems to reflect the content of the book. But I wanna know if someone have read it.

Having looked at a Google Book search (I suggest you do the same if you are interested in looking through the book), the text appears to be aimed at the appropriate level for AS/A-level students - focusing more on the conceptual electronics rather than the mathematical electronics. Personally, I would be more inclined to look at the Art of Electronics to cement ones grounding on the conceptual/understanding side of electronics, however Art may pitch in too high for AS/A-level students.

The worksheets appear to supplement the content of the textbook appropriately.
