I am trying to print out strings(debugging purposes) from two devices.[ WINDOWS7 ]The devices are connected to two com ports COM4 and COM5 . Individually both devices do spit out the strings, but when together, they are not even able to even display powerup(debug)message.

Would teraterm be able to print out simultaneously(they are powered from a single source) over two serial ports?

I am not familiar with your terminal program but you should be able to open two instances of the program and associate each instance with one or the other port.

Reading from two ports at the same time with one program is not something I have seen before, it is unlikely any program could do this right out of the box.
