Agreed about the heat paste.

That stuff has kept me from killing MANY-A reversing valves.

Quite effective.

A reversing valve has a plastic or teflon valve inside and requires 4 connections to refrigerant line plumbing.. all brazed.

This is a LOT of heat in a small area.

It is also VERY difficult to get "between" some of the tubes, so alot of heat is required.

A dollop of heat paste saved me MANY hours of re-work.
