I have to measure strain on blade of windmill. We have placed 3 strain gages on each blade. I have attached a picture
I am using Quarter-Bridge Type II configuration as below link shows:

In this 1 gage is active while other is dummy.
Now I have question regarding dummy gage.
1. How can I place dummy gage on blade so that it don't get affected by strain on blade & in same time maintain close thermal proximity with active gage.
2. Or anyone having experience in this topic who can suggest better alternative. Gage have to be 3.
