I have beeen given the controller board from an Indesit WIL-163 washing machine which has suffered some obvious overcurrent problems.
Various components have been very hot, but do not seem to have burnt out or changed value.
The main driver is a triac(MAC12N) and all the hot components were in this area, but the triac itself seems OK. The obvious thing was to look for blown electrolytics, but they all look good.
Has anyone got a typical triac circuit for this type of controller?
There is also a TWY264P LP off-line switcher chip in the same area, but this do not seem to be involved in the fault.
Any relevant information will be welcomed.
