tape player with speaker output power

    I am having time finding out the answer to this problem.

    the math I did was...

    input voltage x input current = input power ( watts)

    output voltage x output current = output power ( watts)

    output power/input power = total output.

    I did that and come up with 33.33

    that isn't any of the answers to choose I am wondering if I am missing something in the problem. thanks for your help

    Output power is Voltage out times Current out. The input power has nothing to do with the output power.

    then it should be .3 watts correct? that isn't one of the answers to choose from
