Tantalium cap 2.2 uF 16V.

As you see it in the picture, which is the terminal going to positive? Left or right?

Have a big lot, all of them marked like that.

 

I can't tell doo-doo from the picture.

Ignoring any bending the longer lead is positive.

 

For others I've seen, holding leads down and facing the markings, the right-hand lead is positive.

Putting it on a current limited power supply will confirm it. One way will look like a capacitor. The wrong way will flow current (and metal, too if the current limit is set high enough - wear goggles).

 

The capacitor is clearly marked 16+, where the +ve lead is on the longer bent lead.
