Hi, I want to extend the range on the 4 channel 433.92Mhz RF remote control.

I have read that you could extend or solder a small antenna to it but I can't find where the antenna on the circuit board is.

The remote is for Watts Clever Power Socket. Could someone tell me if I am on the right track? How/ where would I look for the internal antenna on the remote. I attach photos of external and internal parts.

    Thanks
    Stephan

The antenna can be seen in the photo that shows the bottom of the PC board. It is the loop of copper that runs around the led.

What makes you think that you know how to do this correctly?
Do you have any measurement equipment that will let you verify the result?

He can use a tape measure to measure the transmission distance before and after.

He's as likely to reduce the range as increase it if that's all he has.

Yeah but he can measure his success or lack thereof in inches, feet, yards or millimeters.
