Hi all!

So, for an assignment I have to design a sync counter with a variable mod that is chosen from "Input S" (Select). When S = 0, mod is 5 and when S = 0, mod is 7. I have to design the "combinational circuit" infront of 3 JKFFs that has inputs and outputs of x0, x1, x2, S and then y0, y1, y2. I can picture the truth table, but I'm clueless as to how to create the combo circuit at this point.

Any help would be much appreciated.

P.S - I will be designing this in Multisim.

Well, being able to picture the truth table is a great first step. Now, since we are not mind readers, how about posting your truth table?

In general, you are expected to show your work. We will not do your work for you. What we will do is look over your work and spot places where you are going astray or could benefit from a specific hint to move you in the right direction.
