Symbol on chip I dont understand

    I have a chip that I dont understand its purpose and was wondering if anyone could help
    I created a diagram of the Chip

    No I cant get a good photo the thing is tiny about 4mm by 8mm
    that is why I made the drawing

    Are the yellow things conductive tabs? Is the lefthand one not connected to anything? Where is the 10.8V coming from?

    (seeing the picture) Huh? Do you mean 4cm x 8cm ?

    the yellow things are actually white and insulate conductive tabs

    Looks like a battery pack to me. The symbol may be a corporate logo; I don't recognize it.

    hummm didn't think about a logo. I also don't recognize it that is why I posted.
    YES it is a battery pack. I thought I had already stated that.

    I am just wondering what this chip is doing. I cant see any function of it

    Now that would be awesome. I will have to test that out. and it would make sense

    It is attached to the battery with what looks like thermal paste.

    I think you are right on the money.

    I believe that it is something similar to this http://www.atcsemitec.co.uk/item12.html
    it just does not have the monitor connector hooked up but I do see it.


    I did a bit of testing and raising the temperature defiantly causes a resistance.
