how can i make a jk flip flop synchronous counter count 5,6,7,0,1,2 and then preset back to 5. using 3 or 4 jk flip flops and any other logic gates.

As a starting point, consider a synchronous counter using JK flip-flops: http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_4/chpt_11/3.html

Now have a think about how you can condition the datapath to obtain the sequence you need.
