i need to build a current source that able to supply 0-10A, the value of output current is controoled by a much smaller input current ranged max at 10+ mA. may anyone give me some idea of doing this?
i was thinking of using monolithic darlington or 2 stage current amplifier by transistors. However i could not get linear input-output current relationship by using d 2 stage current transistors while simulating similar circuit with lower current range. I am using d pspice student version, without power bjt n monolithic darlington, is it possible that i can get smooth input-output relationship if i use the real power device? d trasistors i intended to use r 2 2N3055 in parallel to amplify up to max 10A. is this realizable?
