i'd like someone to help me with a course work which involves using a rectifier which acts as a supply to an isolated dc chopper and which in turn acts as a supply to an inverter which finally supplies a single phase motor application.(switch mode power supply for a single phase motor application)

 

Is this an actual device to construct, or is it to be simulated? What understanding do you have and what progress have you been able to make?
