I'm looking for a circuit that achieves the following:
When I close a switch and hold it closed for a short period of time, the switch stays closed. Then, when I open the the switch, it will open but not allow it to close again for an adjustable few seconds. I expect the switch circuit output to be routed to a relay coil and the push button switch be replaced by the relay output.
I thought this would be a debounce circuit but I don't think that does what I want. It's more of a on then delay & reset before the switch will work again circuit. What would that be called?
