A couple of women formerly in the engineering dept of our company were quite attractive (all the other engineers are men). One was a mechanical engineer (who left to return to school) and the other was a computer/software engineer (she left during company downsizing).

Also, here's a link to a news story I read a couple of days ago which I found interesting... It discusses why there are so few women in technical fields.

I've been teaching electronics for 4 years now and have had only 5 female students. One of them went on to get her EE degree and one other is a robot tech where they make seat frames for Nissan. Another went on to a medical manufacturing plant where they make some sort of drug cart that gets pushed around in hospitals when they dispense drugs. It has an electronic lock that uses some sort of bar code reader to give access to the meds.
