Surface/flush mountable LED volt/multimeter needed

I would like to be able to measure AC & DC as well as resistance. AS far as voltage range, I would say a minimum is 500v.

I would be able to use a standard multimeter (handheld) if I could change the LED output from the one built into the unit to a lighted one (IDK if there is a conversion cable to change the display type). I can mount the board so that it is functional.

Why not just buy a proper multimeter with a backlight if thats all you need?

and I assume you mean "maximum 500V" not minimum.

There is a "BIG" difference in a purpose built volt/amp display like the one you linked to and a real fluke type multimeter.
This is a multimeter

This is NOT

A real multimeter just uses a generic character display and the circuitry inside the meter sends the proper digits to it.
A "voltmeter" has the circuitry already built into it to ONLY display voltage or current in a range specified by the circuitry inside the meter
