    Hi,

I am trying to supply 5V DC to a circuit that has a couple of ICs with a USB Port.

    Are these all I need?

    USB to 3.5mm barrel cable
    3.5mm barrel power jack
    a decouple capacitor

If someone can also recommend some parts, it would be appreciated.

You can get a USB cable that most likely will come with a Mini USB on the other end, you can replace this with the barrel jack.
You don't show your Country of origin but Digikey have the parts.
    Max.

Pay attention also to the dimensions of the jack's male and female parts. The diameter of the center hole is also important, and even the length of the barrel. Details matter.

You can pick up a USB cord locally or off ebay, the barrel jack and plug are stocked by Digikey, just search Barrel Jack.
Naturally only the +5v and common conductors are used on the cord.
    Max.
