    This is my homework question.
Draw block diagram fo a SH AM receiver. Assume an incident signal, and explain what occurs in each stage.

The only part that is a little confusing is what happens with the incident signal?

    Thanks

    Hi,

It gets amplified and heterodyned with the local oscillator.

This does not cause a problem in the output?

    Hi,

Miscommunication, I think. From your reply, I take it that "incident signal" does not have the same meaning as, say, "signal of interest".

Can you expand on the characteristics of the incident signal?
