Supercharged bug racquet

    Easiest? Buy a second one, rip the board out and add it in series to the first one.

    True! How about adding a bigger cap? Or a 9v instead of 2 AA?

    Just so you know you are pushing the ToS a bit here. Why do you need to increase the voltage/power?

    I tinkered with one of these trying to up the juice on them. Mine used a self oscillating single transistor circuit hooked to a three stage voltage multiplier ladder. Unfortunately since I don't have a scope I can't really see what all is going on. I think the only thing I could have done to improve it without doing a total redesign would be to replace the 1n4007 diodes on the multiplier with some ultrafasts to improve efficiency.
