    Hi,
I will be designing a data logging system using FPGA.
I am confused to select a suitable RTC in order to log a time-stamped data.
Anybody pls help me in this moment..!

    Bye

I suggest you start looking at Maxim's offerings. My preferred part is a DS3231 which is a complete clock for time and date, has an internal crystal with temperature compensation, is damn accurate, and is simply to power with an external coil cell so it powers up next time knowing what the time is.
