I once designed, programmed and built a simple multi -timer circuit using a PIC so I have some experiance, but it was a few years ago.
The time has come when only a PIC will solve my problems but what one do I use ?
Its main task it to read pulses from a magnetic pickup running at 3k RPM and manipulate an output on an ignition circuit. Should I use one with a Shmitt trigger input to keep things stable. The program will not be huge so memory is not a problem and I will only need 1 input and 1 output.
Any ideas ?
