Check it out. I made a stroboscope for $2, and you can too...well, it might cost you a little more than $2 (unless you already have the parts), but definitely not as much as so-called "low cost" stroboscopes available commercially. I doubt the total cost would exceed $30 if you ran it with a 555.

I would post this in the "completed projects" section, but I've never been involved in a project that I would consider "completed."
