Hi there, i have a strange problem and ive found lots of similar threads but nothing that really pieces together my issue.

im emulating a 12v DC module that acts as a relay for a very heavy but varying current, (14A) and down to around 7A. the switch gives gives 100 ohms on level 1. and 500 ohms on power level 5. but level 5 should give 12v direct through the relay.
So essentailly i need 500ohms to power the relay directly with 12v and then 100ohms to allow 6v through.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Guys

Judging from your schematic, you should change this resistor, right here.

Oh, wait...you didn't provide a schematic. It would help a lot if you did.

Do you have a schematic? Do you know how to post it on this page?

Well thank you for your extremely sarcastic respone, what a nice way to welcome a new member... Quite evidently i do not, i have a wiring diagram of the circuit that this component needs to go in, however nothing more.
Heres the link to the diagram if anyone has a mature outlook on the situation.
http://www.corrado.com.pl/elektryka/corrado94.pdf page 34 and its the 2 components on the right,.
Thats all the information i have currently.
Thanks for any help one might have :)
