You are missing too much information and there are many complex interactions that come into play.

Even if you had it all, the math would be ridiculous.

I always thought that the PPS(pulses per second) was a direct result of the step angle of the motor, such as 200 steps per revolution equals 1.8 degrees per step

already did that and as I said to no avail. All documents mention 1-2 phase excitation as something you already know the definition of, but no mention of a definition.

I am guessing it is another name for half step. Can someone please confirm or deny this?
